Kia Ayers

​Kia is an Alumnus of the Fashion Institute of Technology with an Associate's in Fashion Business Management and a Bachelor's in Advertising Marketing Communication.

At FIT she developed trend forecasting skills using Doneger, Fashion Snoops, and WGSN services. Her course work in Photographic styling enhanced her proficiency in pre and post-production with the ability to create mood boards, scout locations, and source collaborators. 

 

Kia's internship with Diandre Tristan who styles Robin Roberts of Good Morning America, taught her how to steam, pin, press, and prep clothing and accessories. She learned how to study industry trends, including shopping for anticipated styles. As well as develop outfit construction skills for all body types. 

 

She's since built on that experience by conducting fashion photoshoots as a freelance stylist. In doing so, Kia developed an eye for line, shape, contrast, and coordination of color. By collaborating with photographers, she expanded her knowledge of proper lighting, makeup selection, and all facets of producing a successful photoshoot.

Kia has also done internships in social media marketing and brand management where she planned and executed content, Ad campaigns, and rebrands for a number of organizations.
